Illuga doesn’t remember his parents.
Their faces swirl into a mix of nothingness, their voices become distorted and overlap each other, their touch is slowly dissolving from his skin. It’s almost as if they’ve completely turned into the Wild Hunt itself in his mind. He tries his best to block it out of his mind, but it will always be lurking like a dark shadow.

After sending Jean off to a meeting with would-be defectors from the Abyss Order, Kaeya receives a warning that not all is well. His attempt to ride to the rescue, however, leads him straight into the clutches of a Lector who intends to pry his secrets from him as painfully as she can. When Jean, still reeling from what she learned from the defectors, returns to find her second-and-command and best friend missing, it falls upon her to find him, and save him--while trying at the same time to aid a people he thought long past help.
