Summary
Chuck was gone, the world was safe, and Jack was the new God of this joint.
Dean Winchester decided to use his new found freedom of responsibilities to pack up and move to Los Angeles to stick his feet in the sand, get some sun, enjoy the movie magic in motion, and decide how he wants to spend the rest of his life. He was definitely not running away from the personal consequences and feelings of the past few months.
At least, that is what he had thought at first.
He did not expect to be peer pressured into attending Alcoholics Anonymous by Sam, Jody, and by extension the wayward sisters and Eileen, when they decided that Dean needed to stop with the liquor and spirits, and instead deal with the ghosts of grief weighing down his shoulders.
He also didn't expect to be taken under the wing of a firefighting captain with the same name as one of the ghosts he was running from.

Summary
Peter Parker is a ghost. After the world forgot he existed, he ripped his two identities apart to survive. Spider-Man takes the hits and Peter stays hidden in a drafty, depressing attic apartment, completely alone. That is the plan, anyway. He is determined to keep everyone at arm's length to protect them from the curse of knowing him.
Davina „Davie“ Waverly is just trying to pass her exams, practice her magic in peace and ignore the heavy, restless footsteps of her reclusive upstairs neighbor. As a witch living in the heart of New York City, she already has enough on her plate, including two highly judgmental, telepathic cats.
But when something goes wrong and Peter literally crashes onto the pavement outside her window, minding her own business is not an option.
She has a secret she is trying to hide. He is carrying a world of grief he refuses to share.
Neither of them was looking for a sanctuary, but between late-night patch-ups, shared laundry rooms and the undeniable pull of a warm apartment, keeping their distance is about to become the hardest fight of Peter's life.
