Summary
It began with two twin girls. They had hair as golden as the sun and eyes as green as emeralds. They were pure, kind. Destroyed under the weight of their family blood, laced with lies, secrets. Words which no one ever dared to speak to the girls.
One of them dreamt of a son and drove herself insane trying to get one. When she finally did, it paid a price. She left the other sister alone, to live without her other half, empty and searching. Now it is up to their sons to decide what is right, after being fed promises, lies, hatred, secrets, love.
They are their own people now. They can only hope that they make the right choices.

Summary
Annie Cresta doesn’t think that she can win the 70th Hunger Games, but she wants to. She wants to train. She wants to do well. She at least doesn’t want to go in there completely blind, and she doesn’t want to spend what is potentially the last few days of her life completely alone. Thankfully, she has a mentor to teach her these things. Unfortunately, that mentor is very, very bad at his job.
Finnick Odair is pulled in too many directions. Every Hunger Games, he’s brought to the Capitol under the guise of being a mentor, but his real work is for the President of Panem, and for his Capitol clientele. Finnick is living in his own hell this Hunger Games, and it’s all he can do to keep Annie from suffering a fate worse than death: victory.
Annie and Finnick enemies to lovers.

Summary
Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between what's real and not real. Annie, Finnick, Bay, and Mags have decided to write down their memories and stories to keep track of it all. A collection of untold backstories, new perspectives on old chapters, and some strange memories that never really happened at all.
~ An accompaniment to Dead in the Water: An Odesta Fanfic (and sequels) ~
Some stories might make more sense/be more emotionally devastating if you’ve read Dead in the Water and its series first, but they can also be read just as One Shots.

Summary
A 17-year old Annie Cresta volunteers for the Hunger Games after being fed the promise of honor and wealth all her life. Victory soon turns out to have a high price, but at least meeting Finnick is a silver lining. A bond blossoms between two people who have both been badly hurt by the Capitol, but navigating the maze that Snow has put them in is not easy.
This spans from the 70th til the 75th Hunger Games, and is told partly from Annie's perspective, and partly from Finnick's.

Summary
Annie did not want to spend the better half of her night half-carrying, half-dragging an incredibly heavy and unconscious Finnick Odair off of the beach in District 4.
This is quite literally the last thing that she ever thought she would be doing with her free time, and also one of the things she wanted the genuine least, but here she is. Dragging his mostly limp body through the sand, wondering if she could hoist his body over her shoulder without waking him up.
Though, Annie thinks, the man seems to be pretty much dead to the world. She didn’t bother trying to shake him or yell his name or anything stupid like that — Finnick Odair is a Victor, and Annie knows well enough to not fuck with Victors. She’s seen the Games, everyone has seen the Games. She doesn’t blame them for the shit they had to do to survive, but she knows damn well that she isn’t going to go kicking the proverbial hornet’s nest by triggering a Victor’s fight or flight instincts.
So Annie is dragging him, asleep, to her house in the dead of night.
(or, annie cresta and finnick odair falling in love despite rocky beginnings)
