Summary
Jimmy is a wanderer trying to find his place to belong. Used to taking care of himself and not being able to count on others he decides to spend the night in a village that he felt was off. Turns out the villagers figured they could use the wander to solve their monster problem.
Tango is a fire spirit traveling the world and filling his days with distractions so he doesn't have to think about how lonely he is. He has friends and family he can visit with but longs for a companion that can accept both sides of his nature. His dating attempts had always ended in heartbreak however so for now he had sworn off even trying.
When the two of them meet sparks fly but the challenge is that Tango can understand and somewhat write Jimmy's language but can't speak it. Jimmy can't understand Tango's language at all.

Summary
Tango is a workaholic. Jimmy is a hopeless romantic. They’re friendly enough, but not trapped-in-a-magical-Hallmark-movie-together friendly.
Yet here they are, stuck in a picture-perfect town where every holiday cliché is shoved in their faces. Maybe the only way out is to lean into it—decorate a bit, bake some cookies, skate on some ice.
As long as they’re not part of the clichés themselves… right?
It’s a Hallmark movie. What could possibly go wrong? 🎄

Scott needed no stinking boyfriend. Jimmy could have all the engineers he wanted. Scott didn't need him at all. He did exceeding well on his own before Jimmy and will now without him.
He can buy flowers for himself. He had Louise to talk to, even if the cat couldn't talk back. No, talking back was actually better. He could even hold her little paws.
Who needs a boyfriend anyway?

“Look, Tango, I need you keep an open mind,” Impulse said, hurriedly placing the bundle delicately in Tango’s arms, “and especially an open heart.”
Tango cradled it like he saw Impulse had. It had a very strange weight to it. After all, it was very heavy for its size. And, if he stayed still enough, he could vaguely feel a small amount of movement.
Almost like breathing.
“You were the only person who could help,” Impulse whispered, his voice pathetically wet as he carefully pulled the blankets back.
Tango tore his eyes away from Impulse, and onto the thing in the bundle.
His heart dropped.

Summary
Religion isn't a common thing across the Severs, but with the wide range of backgrounds the Hermits come from, Xisuma is sure they each have their own beliefs. He doesn't think it's that uncommon to follow a god, certainly not worth the look of terror on Grian's face when Xisuma explains that his patron is a Watcher named Xelqua.
