Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Lady Luck herself, has finally fallen on her feet after years of playing catch-up. Her boss, Mary Humphries of The House of Humphries, has invited her to be first assistant at an important meeting in London with none other than Gabriel Agreste.
But with bad luck seemingly always knocking on her door, she needs to make sure she doesn’t ruin this opportunity — which is easier said than done.

Summary
★ Marinette is tired. Tired of all the responsibilities and heartache. She isn't able to confess to Adrien, especially since he's been distant. She can tell there's something wrong with him, but doesn't want to pry, as much as she wants to. So for now, the only thing she can do is be there for him as a friend, even if she wants more than that.
★ Adrien is done trying to confess to Ladybug. She's been excessively overwhelmed and stressed due to her superhero duties. Telling her how he felt would only add more to her plate; he could tell she didn't like him back. It's hard for him too, even if she couldn't see it. So for now, the only thing he could do is be there for her as a partner, even is he wants more than that.
★ But, what if they both found a way to avoid the misery of heartbreak, if only for a little? What if Chat Noir paid a visit to Marinette's house at night, just for old times sake? What if, as the nightly visits progress, they find a way to distract themselves from their everyday lives and its issues? What if...they used each other..?
