He saved countless souls, slain countless monsters. It took a year after he awoke— Until finally; Calamity Gannon was slain. With the Master Sword in hand, he fought tooth and nail for Hyrule. He saved the Princess. He united the nation, he won.
The spirits of the fallen champions were freed. Zelda was free.
It was a typical Happily Ever After— except, life doesn’t stop after the credits roll.
