Summary
FBI Agent Nina Hayes is sent to the Navajo Nation to investigate a string of missing women. Local activist and lawyer Awan Bitsui knows the community better than anyone, and he’s wary of outsiders. Sparks fly, tensions rise, and grudging respect forms as they navigate the investigation, the landscape, and the unspoken bonds that grow in the desert.
