Summary

Summary
This story is inspired by Episode 24 of the 1990’s Moomin TV series. A quick summary of the episode: Moomin got sick from not being able to sleep during the winter and instead went outside to keep busy. He's now in bed in spring but Snufkin hasn’t yet come back to Moomin Valley. While everyone tells Moomin that spring came early this year and thus Snufkin is going to be a little late, Moomin dreams of Snufkin and seeing his friend* again.
*I say ‘friend’ in the same way that the Greeks were just “friends” with all those men they slept with. Moomin and Snufkin are hella gay and it shows. Also if you feel like learning about the language of flowers: Google what lupins mean, you’ll thank me :).

Bilbo Baggins is a respectable Hobbit. Thorin Oakenshield is the King of Erebor. Bilbo did not think he'd ever be on an adventure, and Thorin is not quite sure why he hired the hobbit for one. Nevertheless, two of them set out with Thorin's company to reclaim Erebor. However, adventures, quests, life, and purposes are not easy; and during all of it Bilbo must prove himself to Thorin and the company, and Thorin must keep the company in line (Dwalin is causing problems with Nori, and that for sure wasn't helping Thorin). With the constant threat of goblins, orcs, thieves, elves, man, and Nori's old crime groups tailing them down, how far are they willing to change themselves to reclaim the dwarrow's homeland? How willing are they to let the other change them?

“But you like it better when I do it?” Wu frowns. Morro glances at Garmadon, Wu raises an eyebrow and turns to him as well, who offers nothing but a smile, then back to Morro just as confused, as if to say ‘so what?’ And Garmadon again can’t be bothered to hide his amusement, watching the child learn so quickly just how oblivious and unhelpful his master can really be. Morro makes a noise in between a squeak and a groan and relents, kneeling on the floor between Wu’s legs and hands him the comb. Wu hums in satisfaction and pours them their tea.

In the evening before the Battle of the five armies, after Gandalf and Bilbo talked to Thranduil and Bard, the latter two stay together in Thranduil's tent. A moment of curiousity leads to unexpected intimacy.
"You may touch it if you want.", he said.
Thranduil's gaze snapped up from his beard to his eyes in surprise.
"Touch... it? Your beard?", he repeated in a tone of disbelief that Bard had never heard in his voice before. Though he certainly did not seem repulsed by the idea.
"Yes, if you want to.", Bard confirmed, again stepping closer.
