Lucerys Velaryon is not fond of tourneys, and neither is Aemond Targaryen. It is amusing, then, for the one-eyed prince to crown his nephew as the Queen of Love and Beauty in front of the whole of King's Landing as their family and his betrothed stare in horror.
Most of the riders urge their horses towards one place - the far end of the arena where the royal family sits. Aemond knows and he is certain to whom these lordlings were headed to. Before any rational thought is formed in his mind, he hastens his own mount, bodying some riders along his way.
Aemond reaches the grandstand first, jerking into a sudden halt with his heart racing. He hears the disgruntled groans of the knights around him, some of their lances clattering angrily on the ground. Aemond pays them no mind. He extends his lance forward and upward with resolution.
The crowd has now grown silent, all eyes focused on them. "I humbly ask for your favor," Aemond begins. "The Future Lord of the Tides, Prince Lucerys Velaryon."
