What he didn't expect though was for his tactlessness to lead to a holding contest between him and Hinata. And Kageyama refuses to back down from a challenge... even one as unexpected as this.

He had assumed he’d be able to wait until they got to a restaurant, the twinge of his bladder barely an annoyance before he and Phoenix had been so suddenly trapped. But now…Well, the fact that there was no possible way Miles would be able to relieve himself was not helping his panic in the slightest."
