"I brush teeth!" Chirps a small voice with just a hint of a lisp, turning 'teeth' to 'teef'. There's a patter of socked feet on the tile floor, and then there he is.
The sight punches the air from Castiel's lungs, the empty space filing with the purest joy he's felt in a long time, because Jack is so… little. So wonderfully, perfectly little. Young like the baby he never got to be, the life Castiel had imagined for him and grieved a hundred times over as he watched him forced to grow up too fast.

Summary
When Steve nearly runs over Will Byers on that fateful night in 1983, he doesn’t expect offering him a ride home would result in both of them being hunted into another dimension. Surviving there is hard. Adapting to normal life again is even harder. His old self settles like an ill-fitting suit, and there’s no room for nightmares and fear and his new bond with Will in it. With that, the fitting room stall’s lock finally clicks open, the door swinging open with a muted groan. Eddie steps out, arms spread wide. “Alright. What do we think?”
From an objective standpoint, he looks good. He looks really good. Objectively speaking.
From a subjective standpoint, he looks like someone Buck wants to pin against the nearest surface and fuck until they’re both stupid.
“Handsome, you are,” Buck croaks.
