"I think I could do it here, y'know."
"Do what?" Steve is sweating in the muggy late-summer storm, shirt inadequate for the weather and sticking to his shoulders as it becomes steadily soaked through. He hasn't tried to make Bucky take shelter from the rain and instead stayed beside him under the onslaught, leaning on the eroded rail of the pier and watching the water roil beneath them. He wonders if their combined weight is enough to break the rusted metal altogether, if they could end up falling all over again. If they ever stopped.
Bucky finally cuts his eyes sideways, a flash of grey as stormy as the sea below that's somehow still shocking after all these years. Steve doesn't feel like it's betrayal to say he looks fucking terrible, all dark circles and five-day beard and sallow skin like he hasn't seen the sun for years. He lifts his working shoulder in a slow shrug and looks back out at the horizon, where there are more dark clouds rolling in towards them.
"Get better."

Summary
He woke up with no memories at all, not even a clear sense of his own body. The only thing keeping him company was a floating window that sometimes appear and resembled a game interface. He thought he had entered another world—or perhaps a game world. He didn't know if it was reincarnation. Still, he was determined to escape the dungeon and enjoy life in this new world. Just when he thought he was alone, he met an adventurer named Maria. She said that she also wanted to clear the dungeon, get out, and reunite with her family. They became friends and set out on an adventure together to clear the dungeon.

Shadow the Hedgehog has been missing for a year, vanished without a trace. Rouge searched for him tirelessly until she finally gave up, accepting that her partner and friend was gone, forever. However, Sonic doesn't know the meaning of the word "give up." Even if he only finds Shadow's body, Sonic swears he'll find him. He will find Shadow. Whatever it takes.

Nine didn't want more problems. He didn't want any more emotional turmoil. Nine just wanted to rest in peace in the Grim for the rest of his short life. But reality reminded him that there were still loose ends to tie up.
Hurt and convinced he deserves nothing, he found himself caught in a conflict orchestrated by the Chaos Council, Dr. Eggman, a certain blue hedghog that he desperately wanted to both see and not see, and that terrible yellow and happy fox that he hates.

G.U.N is planning on installing a new team of covert operatives onto their roster just in case another threat similar to the evil Dr. Eggman arrives. Even though those strange creatures from another world had already left, you could never be too careful. They needed people. People who were willing to stick their necks out for them; people who have nothing to lose, and a whole lot to gain. One of their recruits, Topaz has already caught their eye. A proper team leader a follower when it came to her own superiors. Two others are on their radar. Rouge the Bat, who had managed to stay behind during the Mobians’ Big Move, and the recently recovered body of Project Shadow.
Project Shadow would be tough to convince, Rouge, just as much, but the other soldiers have found that the white bat has taken a liking to Topaz. Giving her the new nickname: Mobian Whisperer, and that Topaz herself has skills that could aid in their capture if Project Shadow. She would be the perfect companion for these unruly two.
Topaz has a few tasks:
Tame Project Shadow.
Charm Rouge.
Become their new leader.
The leader of Team Obsidian.
