Percy Jackson has survived a lot in the last few years. He should finally be able to take a break, but the Gods never let that happen. Only, the thing is, this time it isn't the Gods from his world that are trying to get to him - instead, they're from a world where they can no longer have children, and they desperately want them. It's weird, being actively sought out by Gods who (for once) don't mean harm, but their interest in his life is even weirder. Especially when he has to confront it himself.
OR: percy is taken by gods from a universe where they can't have demigods, and the magic used to find him also creates a set of books about his life - because each time one of the living demigods are mentioned, they, too, are summoned to meet their alternative parents. (although not every one of them turns up.) they've been planning to find them for a while, and now, they aren't willing to let them go. (he'll figure something out. hopefully.)

That was the last Time I ever heard the Voices of the Children in Home Sweet Home at Playcare. Right after 3 Days of my Two Weeks Vacation it happened.
All TV´s and Radios broadcasted the sudden Closing of Playtime. No Warnings. No Mass Emails to every Employee. No Word about the Children that live in the Orphanage. Only a single Piece of Paper sticking at the Entrance Doors of the Factory. The entire World seemed lost on what could possibly happen at the Factory that would even lead to Closing. Even more concerning is that Friends and Families of all Employees can´t reach their loved Ones for Hours and Days. Watching the News in a Cocktail Bar I was frozen in Shock as my Drink shattered while it slipped from my Hands.
In not even a Day I lost everything that brought me Joy.
". . . What do I do now?", I mumbled to myself while my only Concern where the Children, unaware that I won´t see any one of them for a long Time.

Jason Todd has spent the bulk of the last seven years imprisoned, insane, dead, or wishing he was. For the first time since he chased Joker into Arkham, his life is standing still. Things are (weirdly) good with Bruce. Roy is amazing. Joker is dead. So, there's no time like the present to upend it all and return to the city that broke him in the first place. Sure, Gotham's an unmapped minefield of his worst triggers, a vicious hellhole with a quick temper and a wicked mean streak, but she's Jason's hellhole. And if he's obscenely, unreasonably lucky, he might come out of it with a home, a family, and a chance to be a hero again.
That's worth the risk. Right?

Open on a teenage boy who’s just working on the factory floor just to get through High School. Until one day he takes a sick day, and the next thing he knows there are army vehicles outside Playtime Co. the next day.
Fast forward ten years and he gets a mysterious letter telling him to come back to the factory, but only one thing is on his mind when he gets said letter…”I never got my last paycheck!”
