Summary
DC vs Vampires is so poorly written and executed that most of the plot would crumble to ash with a rudimentary application of simple logic by almost anyone involved.
Unfortunately for this continuity, Barry Allen is an immortal billennia-old time traveller who's mostly interested in saving Hal, not dying at the scripted time and having fun along the way.
Featuring: Boredom-induced chaos, ridiculous outfits, Barry pretending to be a vampire older than agriculture, cute HalBarry stuff, speedsters being eldritch horrors that only superficially resemble humans, and my attempts to salvage some kind of internal logic from the whole mess.

Jason Todd has spent the bulk of the last seven years imprisoned, insane, dead, or wishing he was. For the first time since he chased Joker into Arkham, his life is standing still. Things are (weirdly) good with Bruce. Roy is amazing. Joker is dead. So, there's no time like the present to upend it all and return to the city that broke him in the first place. Sure, Gotham's an unmapped minefield of his worst triggers, a vicious hellhole with a quick temper and a wicked mean streak, but she's Jason's hellhole. And if he's obscenely, unreasonably lucky, he might come out of it with a home, a family, and a chance to be a hero again.
That's worth the risk. Right?
(This works as a direct sequel to You Wouldn't Even Recognize Me Anymore and Can I Help You Not To Hurt Anymore? You'll probably have a better time if you read those first, especially the former, but I won't tell you how to live your life.)

The League honestly hadn’t expected the artifact they’d recovered a few hours ago to explode into golden light spontaneously for no apparent reason, or for said light to turn Barry into a preschooler.
Neither were they expecting Barry to still have his powers. Or for Clark’s call of “Are you okay?” to send him running off in a panic that Clark’s instinctive attempt to reach for him only made worse.
But regardless, the League still has to find him, and calm him down.

Central City may be small compared to Gotham or Metropolis, but it’s still a damn city, big enough that Barry has a hard enough time running into people they actually know, let alone people they’ve encountered for a handful of seconds.
They were long seconds, though. Long enough that Barry noticed how beautiful the woman’s dark eyes were, noticed how the smile that spread across her mouth once she was out of harm’s way lit up her round face, noticed how soft her hair was when they moved it away from her eyes.
They may have been mere seconds, and Barry may not have found out her name, but that hasn’t stopped them from thinking about her.
And now, here she is. Standing right in front of them.

Barry got their face painted, with the bi flag on one cheek and the genderqueer flag on the other, while Iris got a bi flag and falling stars.
"No particular reason, Barr. Just because they're pretty," she said, as they got ready to march in the Central City Pride Parade. They wore matching "Let's get one thing straight: I'm not" t-shirts, and shared a bi flag as a cape. Barry loved this one day of the year when it was obvious and visible that they were queer. Because, let's face it, people saw them and Iris and saw a straight couple, no matter how out they both were to friends and family.
