Summary
On a techno organic version of Cybertron, Megatron was banished from his village for being choranaptyxic from birth. This meant that he would grow or shrink to fill whatever space he was in, from a jar to a cave. Optimus Prime is fleeing responsibility and the memory of his friend's recent passing when he meets Megatron, the "beast in the woods."
(Yes choranaptycix is a term from Magical Beasts, but I thought it'd be beautiful for this purpose as well)
