Summary
Stranger things 5, Episode 8... Except the Core 4 + Max actually decide to go to Stacey's party instead of sitting in Mike's basement playing D&D.
Oh... and this party completely changes the trajectory of Will Byers' life. Well... the next two and a half months of his life anyway.

Summary
Seven years ago, after the party saved the world, Will left Hawkins and never looked back.
Now twenty-five, Will is faced with the hardest decision he’s made since leaving. But what could possibly go wrong with coming back and attending Max and Lucas’s wedding? They’re two of his best friends in the world. The title of best friend would’ve belonged to Mike, if they still talked. If Will could even be sure they were still friends at all. So much for promises made in the Upside Down.
So Will returns. He fulfills his duties as Max’s best man. And then he plans to leave again, back to whatever ditch he’s been using to hide from the last seven years. Except Mike tells him the truth. Seven years ago, Mike figured out his feelings for Will just before graduation. Then he knew who Tammy Thompson was and decided there was no use crying over spilled almosts.
Everything would be peachy if Will hadn’t spent the last seven years loving Mike anyway. Despite his own boyfriend. And despite the fact that Mike is happy now, engaged to his fiancé of six months. With them, timing has never been kind. It wasn’t then. It won't be now.

Summary
Six years had passed since the last Dungeons and Dragons campaign in Mike Wheeler’s basement. Six years since the dice stopped rolling, since the world almost ended, and since too many important things were never said.
Mike became a writer almost by accident, building stories to keep the past at a safe distance. But over time the words thinned out. Without Hawkins, without the people who shaped him, inspiration faded. His agent suggested New York, told him to walk the city and let something new find him.
What Mike did not expect was Will.
Seeing him again, older and real, cracked something open. Everything Mike had carefully put together to hide, to forget, to move on began to fall apart.
New York was meant to give him a new story. Instead, it returned the one he left unfinished.

Summary
"Chance bit the inside of his lip. Truthfully, part of him believed Jason’s Hellfire theory was a desperate story fueled by the grief of losing Chrissy, but the more Chance watched Hawkins fall apart, literally, the more he felt his old logic snap into place. Maybe Jason had been right, the town had a wound and something crawled out of it, something that hid in plain sight. Chance didn’t believe in revenge, the Bible says justice belonged to God or the law. But, if there really was an evil in this town, wouldn’t it be just as evil to do nothing about it? To let it happen?"
OR
After losing two of his friends in the Hawkins “earthquake,” Chance joins a church grief group that believes Will Byers is the vessel for Satan. To prove them wrong, Chance agrees to befriend Will, but the closer he gets, the more the lines between faith, fear, obsession and love start to blur.
