Jonathan Byers didn’t believe in soulmates. Not in the sense that they didn’t exist. He knew they were out there– in theory. He wasn’t naive enough to think that he’d actually find his. He also didn’t buy into the belief that you couldn’t live a happy life without finding your soulmate. He didn’t know anyone who had found their soulmate and they all lived perfectly happy and normal lives. There was just one benefit of finding a soulmate. Colors. The moment a person and their soulmate touch, their worlds are flooded with vibrant, beautiful colors. Without that person, you were stuck in a world of black and white. When Will goes missing, finding his soulmate is the last thing on Jonathan’s mind that is until he punches Steve Harrington in the face and his world is flooded with color.

They’re sitting by the pool, soaking in the early summer sun and passing the new strain Steve got back and forth. It’s just the two of them, and he feels relaxed and floaty and not thinking about the hundred different things that could be rearing up to attack Hawkins when they least expect it. It was shaping up to be a good day, which of course meant it couldn’t last.
He pauses, joint halfway to his mouth. “What do you mean?”
“Don’t give me that, we all had an awakening. Nothing to be ashamed of. What was yours?”
Steve grimaces, and Eddie frowns at him. “Hey, man, you don’t have to tell me if-”
“It’s kind of embarrassing,” he blurts out.

Based on a request from zerokrox-blog on tumblr that turned into so much more: So Dom Steve with sub Eddie with Steve being a bit mean and making Eddie use his words in a scene to explain what he wants (mixed in with a bit of praise kink for Eddie, and Steve being assuring and still slightly mean to his sweet boy).
Which led to a conversation about demon Steve, which led to me spiraling about how charming and overprotective demon Steve would be and how Eddie would be an absolute SLUT for it. So here we are. -

Steve, who has just ripped through the tape binding his wrists in an impressive feat of strength, freezes mid movement. His nostrils flare and Eddie can practically see the moment it clicks for him, even before his eyes flick down.
“Wait a second,” he mutters, and then his eyes are back on Eddie’s face, wide and panicked and disbelieving. “You are-”
“Pretty fucking hot when tied up?” Eddie rasps around an aching jaw, voice still hoarse with misuse. “Why, gee, who knew you were into that kinda stuff, Harrington?”
“Stop joking, that’s not what I meant!”
The command is sharp, and Eddie finds his jaw clenching shut against his conscious will. A red-hot flush is crawling up Steve's neck, but his face is full of serious concern.
“You're in heat,” he murmurs.

Summary
Steve Harrington was always lucky. He was well-liked by the whole town. He was the kind of guy who got extra fries when he ordered a meal at the diner or a few extra points than he earned on a test. When he's up for a big swim record, everything starts to change. The attention surrounding him skyrockets, and it's almost impossible to get through a day without everyone hitting on him. Is this just because of the record or is something else at play?
Jonathan Byers is unlucky. Things never seem to go his way. He works shifts down at the arcade and is focused on helping out his mother and brother. When Nancy Wheeler asks him to photograph the new swim star, he insists only if he's allowed to keep his distance and get candids. Things change for him when he realizes there may be more to Steve than meets the eye... in more ways than one.

Summary
Rob moves closer, pressed together fingers to shoulder, she tilts her head so that her snakes can greet him. They nose Steve’s cheek gently at first, uncertain, before Steve nuzzles them and then they all join in, Steve’s face being licked by dozens of happy tongues. Robin giggles, “dingus.”
All of Robin’s snakes sit low, relaxed, all lovely shades of copper and bronze, just like the scales that decorate her cheekbones and eyebrows. Steve looks down; she’s done something to the scales, glitter, or something, but it looks pretty. Steve before wouldn’t know how to do this; how to give a simple honest compliment to a friend. Old Steve only said things that were shitty, just to make him feel better about himself, “looks nice, the,” Steve gestures vaguely to the space next to his own eyes, where white downy feathers lie flat to his skin, “shiny. I like it."
