“It was here that I first saw Keith,” Shiro tells her. “Rising from the grasses like a wild thing.”
“You have thought of him, these long years?” Allura asks, sympathy in her lovely face.
“I have thought of little else. All hope of happiness or good fortune I have sent his way.” Shiro tells her without shame.

Peter jumped at the whisper in his ear. He turned around, but no one was there, not even with his enhanced senses. Still, his skin prickled from someone's presence. He scanned the lobby and found the culprit leaning against a wall in a faraway corner. Dressed in a crisp black suit with his hair slicked back, Loki gave him a lazy wave and a sly smile before disappearing into a crowd of hurrying scientists.
Peter covered his face with his hands. "Oh, you've gotta be kidding me."
