As a little mechanic in a world of smog and smoke, things can be hard. Corruption ran thick, gangs and mafia ruled the city, and kindness ran thin. Luckily your little shop was there for those in need, no matter the problem you wasn't afraid of a little pain to get something fixed. Hands in hot oil? No problem. Deep bites from a fearful animatronic? No problem. This little back alley shop was a breath of fresh air for many tin-cans who was in need for a little oil, and eventually problems come stumbling in you just cant get rid of. That is, if you even wanted to?

This is honestly so sweet. I love the idea that the hopes, dreams and love from a child can bring their toys to life and provide companionship. Sun and moon are such angels in this as well, suffered and suffering, but still loving and caring. Despite everything that happened to them, they still trust and communicate.
It’s such a sweet fic and an even sweeter setting. -

Even 70 years after the Great Revelation of the fantastic people to the rest of the world, things have not changed. Between mythical creatures, animatronics and humans, it is difficult not to see the lines being drawn, the tensions already present always reinforced by prejudice and misunderstanding.
So, when a series of murders begins to create havoc among the population, stirring up inter-genre hatred and anger, the various governments will do everything in their power to try and stop this threat before it causes the established society to sink into the chaos of an inter-genre war.But none of this was your problem, you were already too busy trying to survive this world of shaky stability and unparalleled cruelty.
At least that's what you thought until two Animatronics, tasked with investigating the murders, offered to take you on board in this sordid plot.

This book is gorgeous.
Everything about it is absolutely incredible and it only improves by the chapter.
Rivary has this amazing ability to paint every single character in such vivid detail. They make the most interesting of personalities for everyone. No matter the character and their place. They give story and hints through even the most basic of interactions. They express emotions through words in a way I barely ever see. Sun and Moon are unique. Even Vanessa is Unique. And it’s ever incredible and as much as an honour to read.
That’s just their character work too.Their ability to make and build an interesting world around those characters and interactions. To set a story and follow it, to stick to a setting and truly emphasise the main traits of it make this fanfic ever more interesting to read. Not to mention their description work is gorgeous.
You see pieces of beauty in every single piece of this book. You see the love for both the characters and the world in the words. You see the passion this author has for writing.
I’ve never been more honoured to read a fanfic, and this is one of my highest recommended books. If you are looking for a true story, lore, and depth in everything you read. This is the book for you.

16 chapters and i can’t even count the amount of times I’ve been giggling off my seat. There is so much personality and humour, and it’s so well written and balanced. So much sass from bon bon and sun and moon are such goobers!! I adore this more than i can explain. Eclipse has made a true appearance once more and the lore grows. I’m so excited to see where this goes
