Summary
Raymar had just barely seen the beginning of his fifth year of life when his Mother died.
The memories of her are distant now; fleeting glimpses of a life that they had once lived, time they shared which had been cut short by a shattered skull and a selfish man.
He sees her in every reflective surface, finds her in every sharp wind that hits his face in a promise of freedom and tranquility, and feels her with every lost trace of her favorite honey scented oil.
He had lost her when he was just a boy — now, as a man, as a Lord of the land she had once cared for and ruled — he can only hope that he is even half as strong as she had once been.

Summary
She was ready… in a way that she hadn’t been before… to speak to Vader at last. To confront him and hopefully put an end to this chapter of her life.
Tatooine was the only place that Leia could think of to meet him.
She wanted him to see that this empty, barren, desert world was all that his callous cruelty and disdain for others had left her. This place that she couldn’t even call home.
