Summary
Ava rolls over, shutting her brain off, and very carefully presses the palm of her hand on Beatrice’s waist.
Beatrice tenses immediately, a sharp intake of breath filling the otherwise quiet bedroom.
A few seconds pass with nothing and Ava starts to pull away, an apology on her lips, when Beatrice grabs her wrist. It’s so fast that Ava hardly registers what happened, but suddenly, she’s being pulled to the other side of the bed.
Ava lets it happen, helps, and now she’s hovering over Beatrice. She’s so close she can see the shine in her eyes, how wide they are and she can see them flicker to her lips and back up.
Bea’s made this move, it’s her turn now. Ava leans forward, giving Beatrice a chance to turn her away.
When she doesn’t, it’s game over. Their lips meet and every functioning part of Ava’s brain that might tell her there will be consequences to this completely disappear.
The world could set fire tonight and Ava would keep kissing her as the apartment collapsed around them.

Summary
The fact that Sophie basically asked Ryan to stay at her house with her in season 2 and it was not ever discussed is not lost on me. Thankfully that's what fanfic is for. We know Ryan turned it down in the show, but what if she said yes! This takes place near the end of season 2.
My take on what would happen if Ryan had accepted Sophie's offer to stay on the pullout couch at Sophie's condo.

VR addiction is still rampant and now, just as Kara’s finally finding time to get her life back to something resembling normalcy – to work, to date, and somehow find a way to repair the broken pieces of her relationship with Lena - an unforeseen after effect of Obsidian Platinum is causing previous users to lose touch with reality.
Kara and Lena are going to need to work together to defeat this newest threat. But to do that, first they’ll need to fix what’s been broken between them
Alien threats, an over-protective big sister, society’s expectation to date that guy that buys her coffee, the DEO running rampant, and the fragility of earned trust, Kara’s going to have to deal with it all.

Disclaimer because apparently this needs to be said: this is a REwrite and a Fix-It that will try to be as close as possible to the show. HOWEVER, the "first half" of the season is actually all of season 6, the "second half" will be coming straight from the comics. The totems story line from the CW's season 6 actually perfectly sets up for the comics if you *actually* know what you're doing.
