For me, it was the year 2022. I was a 37-year-old single woman, marking my students’ English papers when a headache hit me. It wasn’t anything serious. I would always get headaches, you know, being a college teacher and all. So, I rested my head on the desk, planning to get a quick nap.
The next thing I know, I opened my eyes to a bright light, gloved hands were holding onto me and I was fully naked. Oh, no biggie, EXCEPT THAT MY BODY WAS THE SIZE OF A FREAKING BABY! Mother of Neptune, I was a freaking baby! If that wasn’t bad enough, voices were filling my head.
'Thank God! She made it!'
'She’s beautiful!'
'My lovely daughter…'
The ache from before appeared yet again. The voices were getting out of control. I realised they were thoughts from the people in the room. The doctor, the woman(mum) who had just delivered me and the man(dad) who stood beside her. I cried. Louder when I heard my own cries. It was a baby’s cry. Damn embarrassing.
“Oh my, what a healthy baby girl,” the doctor said as he handed me to ‘my mum’.
F you, doctor. I’m a baby and I can freaking read people’s minds. What the hell happened to me?!

There he was, finally at peace as the ember grew, disappearing at the edge of the horizon. Merlin had done his duty. Arthur was no more and with his destiny fulfilled, Merlin chose to rest. Rest alongside Arthur. With his last power, he threw Excalibur into the lake, a petite hand clenched onto it before plunging into the water.
Merlin scoffed. “Was this it? Was this all there is? Arthur is gone and I’m all alone.”
His legs wobbled as he slowly fell to the ground. He sighed and laid down on the grass. Merlin gazed at the clouds, the white cotton almost materialised into a face. Arthur’s face. He was smiling his usual sideways smirk. Merlin teared at the sight. He vowed to never use magic. Never. He took his last breath before closing his eyes. Everything was peaceful as darkness overtook his body.
“He’s here! We did it! He’s finally here!” a woman yelled. Chattering filled the air around Merlin.
“And now we can use him to kill the Mikaelsons,” another woman said.
Merlin opened his eyes wide. “Kill?”

Summary
I’m, what you can say, immortal… sort of. I live, grow old (sometimes), die and is reborn as a baby with the memories of my old life still intact. I never had the chance of having a sibling. I was always an only child. By the 1 million-ish death(I lost count), I was finally given a sibling. That was good news for me but not for my parents. They didn’t want him, nor me, to be honest. They hooked up in a telephone booth one drunk night and BAM, I was born 40 weeks later. *sigh* We moved from one place to another, running from loans they made, never had the chance to teach my brother the right way of living life. Now that I’m almost 18, I can be legally independent for guardianship.

As much as she wished she could control it, even at 18 she couldn’t stop the way the tears would build up whenever she was stressed, or scared, or just plain upset. She also couldn’t help the fact that once everyone found out what was going on behind closed doors at her birth father’s house, everyone took it upon theirselves to try to play “savior.”
So, yes, Isla Fawn Sommers was the resident town pity project and apparent crybaby.
Despite the fact that she tried her hardest to be normal, she never felt truly whole, never felt truly safe. Not until she met one Mikaelson—and certainly not until she met the rest of them.
Getting kidnapped may have sucked, but she wouldn’t change it for the world. Not when she had met one of her soulmates because of it, not when she had met all of them.
Now that they had her, they’d never let her go. She was their sun, their moon, their stars, their earth, their galaxy. She was their everything. She was their darling Fawn, always and forever.
It just sucked that Elena and her friends didn’t seem to understand that.
