Summary
Tragedy follows in the wake of the Afton family in almost every universe where they exist. Even this one. Even this one set in a fantastical, and vaguely medieval, world, where creatures even darker than vengeful spirits roam in the shadows. Even this one where animatronics become automatons, miracles of steel and steam, and where everyone wears a new name, a new face. A circus that leaves death in its wake, while the lights distract the world from its dark corners.
Ben, or as we might know him, Michael, wakes from dreams of fire to find himself back in his childhood room. Mixed up and fading memories are his only clue as to how he's returned to his childhood body, but for the first time in a long time he has hope. Maybe this time he can keep his siblings safe. Maybe this time, he won't lose everything he cares about. Who wouldn't jump at a second chance?

Summary
In almost every universe, stepping foot inside a Freddy’s location is as good as a death sentence. This remains true no matter what else in the universe is different, from the time period to the characters. It's true in this universe too, where animatronics are automatons, fantastical creatures might exist, and characters wear different names.
Despite misery and heartbreak there can be moments of happiness. This is one such moment as Ben, or as we might know him, Michael, tries to teach this universe’s version of Jeremy to dance.
This happiness might not last, but it’s all they have.

Summary
Sirius stopped, looking down at the scrubby little kid sitting on a muggle trash bag on the side of the road. "You okay, kid?" He asked, hoping that this wouldn't take too long. He had a schedule to keep, a Moony to find, and a Headmaster to avoid. Not to mention, he still had to buy everything one needed to house an eight-year-old wizard.
"Fine," the kid sniffled unconvincingly. "I'm just waiting."
"Waiting for what?" There was nothing around, just an old field and some scraggly stone walls that were older than the neighboring village.
"My...godfather," the boy said hesitantly, glancing up. "Sir, um...do you know someone named...Sirius Black?"
After spending seven years in Azkaban, the truth about Peter's betrayal comes to light, and Sirius is released. He's pissed, slightly off his rocker, and determined to bring the remnants of his family back together again. If only it were that easy.
