The assignment came to her in the start of the spring as a paper slipped under her door.
No warning, no talking. No inkling of heads-up beforehand.
That was what things had become: just another assignment. Just another paper slipped under her door. Just another, just another.
But they were never just assignments to her.
"A new one. Pride," the note had said. Under it, written jaggedly as though hastily added: "It's hot-headed."
But that's not all he was. All he would be.
He was rash. Impulsive. Curious to learn more. Passionate. Loving. Possessive. Creative. Cool and warm. Bitter and fun. Timid and lively. Multifaceted. Always prideful in some way.
But before all that, he wasn't simply just hot-headed. Before he realized he was a he and not an it. No, he was also inquisitive. Always wanting to know why.
She had never been asked why so many things were the way they were. Not even when Interest had been reborn.
And now, she was to help Pride be reborn an Arlathan elf.-------------------------
A/N: This story tells the events of how Solas, a Pride spirit reborn into flesh, became Fen'Harel. It was written before the release of DA:V.

Solas' long, slender fingers cast healing magic with breathtaking ease. Tendrils of blue magic sparkled in the air, channelled by him from the benevolent spirits who wanted to help. At least, that was what Solas had told her.

Summary
Following the final battle against Corypheus, Solas leaves the side of his former lover Inquisitor Lavellan. He seeks to undo his mistakes of the past by plunging the world into chaos to restore the elven people to their former glory.
Lavellan is unaware of who he really is and his motivations for helping her. She seeks him out to tell him important news
-Unplanned pregnancy-
Fen'Harel's agents act according to his orders and retrieve artifacts of power. Without his foci, he's forced to seek alternative methods to tearing down the veil.
After trespasser, Lavellan is missing an arm and distraught at the truth. He's Fen'harel and will destroy her world to restore the elves. She's determined to save him from himself, and the world too.
Past and present collide: old friends, old enemies, and nothing goes according to plan. Betrayal, heartbreak, impossible choices, and the end of the world.
Multiple endings, you can choose the path Solas and Lavellan take.
Will they reunite? Will the world stay standing? Will Solas be the big bad enemy or can he be redeemed?
Illustrations will likely be on the way... I'm an artist.
