Summary
Hobie had been deflecting him the entire time - he didn’t even consider what kind of attack he’d pull. He claws at the ground to stop the pull before he rolls onto his back, swiping his claws up at Hobie when he finds him too close. Hobie leans back just a hair away from his talons before he pounces, wrestling with Miguel on the mat. Miguel kicks and bucks under him, snarling furiously at being outwitted by him of all people.
“If you’re open for constructive criticism,” Hobie pants, grinning down at him, “you’re relying on force more than agility. That’s your downfall.”
