Summary
The thought of uncontrollable thirst terrified him. To no longer have control over his actions or even his wants and needs was something he could hardly fathom, and yet it loomed over him constantly. If something like that happened, he would—
He’d rather be dead.
He’d rather someone remove him from this world for good if he could no longer control himself, if he became the beast Priwen said he was. He’d rather die with humanity than live forever as a monster.Berlin might honestly be the most depressing place Jonathan Reid has ever visited. Struggling against his vampiric instincts and trying to cling onto his humanity, he's working hard to keep hope alive for the starving, penniless citizens here. But add one stubborn, secretive hunter to the mix, and things start to become a bit more complicated—and the consequences for slipping up seem far more severe.

Summary
As far as Lizzie Stark knows, Miquel Campanya is a mostly penniless artist, museum worker, and occasional speaker at schools. He drinks coffee without sugar, enjoys walking along the river, and encourages Charlie to explore his artistic talents.
And they are just friends.
But when Miquel asks Lizzie and Charlie to spend a summer with him in his hometown, truths will reveal themselves -- on both sides. Is Miquel truly the man he claims to be? And with the rise of fascism lurking around every corner, is a life of happiness even achievable?
Marked Explicit for Chapter 1. Other chapters are rated Mature for subject content.

Summary
At the end of stories, heroes had two choices. They either died or they lived happily for the rest of their days. They certainly didn’t spend days confined in bed from exhaustion and evenings awake from night terrors.
Moiraine had plenty of time to consider and after everything, she decided that she fancied being remembered a hero. After all, she always had a talent for twisting the truth.

Galinda needed to make sure everyone at Shiz University knew that she was perfect, and to never allow even a hint of a crack in that veneer to be perceived. She was expected to meet her well-off husband at this school, after all. A flaw in how she presented herself here would not be tolerated.
---
Galinda Upland's whole life has been planned out for her in advance. She is supposed to be the perfect young lady. Unfortunately, she has been saddled with a chronic illness and a green roommate, neither of which were part of the perfect plan.

Pretty, Elphaba thinks. It shocks her, how easily it comes to her, but there’s really no other word for it. No one, in all her life, has ever looked at Elphaba like Galinda is right now. No one, in all her life, has ever looked this happy to see her.
