Summary
At the end of stories, heroes had two choices. They either died or they lived happily for the rest of their days. They certainly didn’t spend days confined in bed from exhaustion and evenings awake from night terrors.
Moiraine had plenty of time to consider and after everything, she decided that she fancied being remembered a hero. After all, she always had a talent for twisting the truth.

---
Galinda Upland's whole life has been planned out for her in advance. She is supposed to be the perfect young lady. Unfortunately, she has been saddled with a chronic illness and a green roommate, neither of which were part of the perfect plan.

Summary
Glinda Gale landed in Kansas five-years ago with no memory of where she came from, nor how she came to be in a falling hot air balloon in the first place. Thankfully she’s found a safe home on the prairie, helping take care of Em and Henry’s young niece Dorothy in exchange for their kindness and hospitality.
Everything changes however when a sudden tornado rips them out of Kansas, landing the pair in the strange and dangerous world of Oz. A place where a beautiful, green Wicked Witch is waiting for them, and nothing is truly as it seems at all.

“What are you doing here?”
“I should ask that of you. Seriously, Elphie, a religious convent? Who have you become?”
“A ghost,” said Elphaba. “If I'm anything at all.”

Summary
Juno and Minerva had presented two options to Desmond, both equally awful. But who were they to tell him those were the only two options? The Apple responded to him for a reason, after all.
Rather than die to save the world, Desmond uses the Grand Temple and the Apple to search for a better option. Not just for the world, for himself, but for Ezio, who suffered so much for so little reward.
It's December, 1476, and Desmond, fueled with the power and calculations of the Apple, intends on rewarding his prophet, not with answers, but with something better: a chance to save his family, and to correct his biggest regret concerning Leonardo.
Desmond knows saving the world will be easier with more Auditore men. It will certainly be more attractive, that's for sure.

Summary
His body was moving on its own as he bolted up a stack of crates, finding himself running up across the rooves and realizing that he didn’t quite know where he was going. Lightheaded as he was, he realized he wasn’t in control of his own two feet as he leapt across another canal—safely this time. But as he ran, roof to roof by muscle memory alone, it dawned on him too slowly.
Oh. Leonardo. I am going to Leonardo.
His mind went grey and quiet as he pushed back the pain, only realizing he had arrived as he pushed through the shutters of the workshop’s upper floor, tumbling to the ground.
