Summary
Wriothesley hums, laying out on the grass with a stretch. “You’ve played other games right? I know this is your first time using the Akasha but the same principles still apply. Just go over and whack the boar a couple times.”
Heizou grumbles, a couple Inazuman words slipping out. While Wriothesley can hardly be called a linguist, he’s pretty sure at least some of those words were compliments on his teaching prowess.
“Same principle my ass.” Heizou says with a groan, warily watching the boar as he makes his way back over to Wriothesley. Heizou plops down with a grumble, his health bar already in the yellow as he glares at the boar lazily grazing on the grass. “This is not the same as whacking cows in Minecraft. Those cows don’t fight back.”
Wriothesley snorts, grabbing a random apple from his inventory and handing it to the other. “It’s not that hard when you figure it out.”
“It’d be a lot easier to figure out if I had an actual teacher.” Heizou says with a pointed glare, punctuating his dissatisfaction with a crunch of his apple.

His intuition was right, this was no common storm, it was a battle between monsters; hydro and electro elements in the air clashing and wreaking havoc on its surroundings. Wriothesley wasn’t as surprised as he thought he’d be to find out Neuvillette was one of the powers fighting here. While it was strange to think of the Iudex in any kind of physical confrontation, the man would give his everything to protect Fontaine. The Duke didn’t think he should be the only one.

Summary
Neuvillette turns up his nose slightly at the thought of walking amongst the newborn race. Had the Cataclysm not just happened? Had these creatures already forgotten that they lost Egeria to the desert in the south? How can she easily ask him to walk amongst such arrogant creatures?

Ah, this really is fate’s works in motion, he thinks somewhat bitterly. Whether he wants to or not, he has to accept Focalors’s invitation to the city and become their Chief Justice. It’s the only way for the future to unfold and for him to understand why he did what he did. It was a promise after all, the first he’s made.
For Fontaine to stand where it is, Time has decided to grace her powers unto Wriothesley by throwing him a thousand years into the past. After all, the Hydro Dragon must first understand humanity in order to pardon their sins, and who better to convince said Dragon to accept the position of the Iudex if not the one who will eventually hold his heart?

Summary
Sometimes what we need most is to forget in order to move on with our lives.
Neuvillette regains his authority, but pushes too hard. The result ends with him nearly dead, no memories, and in a very stressed out Wriothseley’s care as they try to figure out what to do with Fontaine since Furina just stepped down.
Neuvillette, practical as he is, accepts a lot of things once he wakes up with no memory of anything after being requested to go to the court of Fontaine centuries ago. What he does know, is he trusts this strange warden, and who are these adorable little girls that keep coddling him and handing him shiny metal cogs and screws?
