Matt sighs. "Like what?"
"Like..." Peter gestures, Matt catches the shift of displaced air. "Like a gargoyle who went to Catholic school."
Matt goes very still.
Peter immediately makes a tiny, strangled sound. "Oh my God, that was rude. I didn't mean- well, I meant it, but not in a bad way, more in like a... a respectfully haunted architecture way-"

When May is transferred out of town for a few months, Peter insists on staying in Queens to keep up with school and patrols. The only problem is that someone has to keep an eye on him...and Peter, stubbornly determined to manage on his own, convinces her he'll stay behind with a trusted adult. Unfortunately, the only trusted adult Peter can think of is Matt Murdock.

After that Rocky understood very clearly – that predator was dumb but in the best way possible.
Rocky didn’t know how to describe it better. Its body – Grace’s body – was badly designed here and there. But all together? Surprisingly efficient. And scary, and disgusting. And Grace didn’t pay much attention to it because it was just like that all its life.
It was a past for its – h̴u̵m̶a̶n̵ – species when they used the advantages of their body for a hunt, the alien explained later, but for Rocky it was so obvious, that Grace was a deadly predator, it wasn’t even funny.___
