Steve looked uncertain for a moment, eyes darting away towards the pool. Robin placed her hand on top of his head and turned his attention back to her, "uh-uh, Steve, tell me. You know you can trust me. I told you about my stupid crush on Tammy, you know you'll get no judgement from me. No matter what it is."
God, she didn't know how any other girl could withstand those eyes. Of course for her, it was different, but still had the same effect: all she wanted was to help relieve some of this pain. Steve let out a wavering breath, his eyes scrunched shut as he looked up at the sky, almost like he was asking God for help. But God wasn't there, he didn't have any sympathy for either of them. For their little rag tag group of friends, for Hawkins, for anyone. All that was in the sky was just stars and billions of light years of cold empty space. No sympathy, no mercy, nothing
Or, to simply put it, things may not have been what they seemed after Dustin watched Eddie die. Buckle the fuck up.

Trying to survive living in this shack without getting killed, or worse, coerced into talking about his disgusting 'feelings' with a certain kid who keeps following him around.
