She thought, maybe, magic powers and heroic feats would be enough. But they weren't. And not only because she totally flubbed her first hero outing, causing an issue just to fix it and look good.
Maybe that would've been fine if she hadn't lost her head after being passed by again. For Kagami Tsurugi, who also revealed her identity. How is that fair? But she did. She lost her head and made a reckless, anger fueled decision, and worked with- with Hawkmoth. Shadowmoth. Monarch. Whatever he's going by now. It doesn't matter.
She worked with him.
Chloé Bourgeois, Queen Bee, hero of Paris, worked with a supervillain. A terrorist. After all her talk of supporting Ladybug, trying to do better, being nicer for Adrien's sake—she threw it all away because, what? She was feeling petty? Abandoned? How ridiculous.
She keeps quiet after that whole fiasco and thinks. Just thinks.
