Summary
A rework (reimagining?) of my old fanfic, Shining Abyss, to make it more manageable, and to focus on the most interesting parts of it, being Noelle’s descent into villainy, and her relationship with Kris. You do not have to read the original, since they’re very disconnected and the original is pretty bad tbh. This is planning for larger chapters, but will also take longer per chapter, hopefully being 1 month per chapter maximum. Noelle is the main character, and also our point of view. Also, I’m actually planning things out in advance rather than just going in blind and hoping for the best. This isn’t particularly good, but I hope it’s enjoyable, at the very least.

Summary
A year after the events of Deltarune Chapter 2 Snowgrave, things have changed quite a bit. Noelle went off the deep end, and took Kris' soul, dark fountains have pretty much turned the world into a fantasy rpg, and the gang are the defenders of Castlehome, a combination of Castletown and Hometown, and the central city of the darkworld. Things change even more as Noelle creates a plan that will change the world forever, for the worse... but throughout it all, there remains hope, shining in the abyss.
A fic I came up with months ago and am only now finally making.

A day has passed since Tenna settled into life with Mettaton- watched and appreciated, he's very hesitantly happy with this new, shaky life.
That is, until two certain kids get a little too curious, making the Knight have to set an example- or, perhaps, cause a distraction?
Originally a supposed murder attempt, Tenna can now walk around in the Light World, able to switch between ordinary TV and monster. Now he has to actually put the work into acting like a person, sorting through his trauma, and getting to know his new roommate. When characters from his past start making things more complicated, will he be able to handle the pressure? Or will he shatter for a third time?

Summary
"Philip's mindset was flawed even in his awakening, however. He still had distrust in the back of his mind."
When left vulnerable and alone, even the strongest can collapse. Philip, on the other hand, is very well aware that he does not qualify for that title. Time and time again, he chose to flee, abandoning those he cared for and leaving them to die, despite his best efforts. And yet, all the same, he carried with him the remnants of their trust.
Just once, he wants to live up to that trust, to be worthy of all the things he had been given. Desperately, he wants to grow.
When his pain and despair are at their peak, and when the voice only he could hear was at her loudest, Philip chooses to open his eyes and uncover his ears.
So long as he can stand up straight, he can change even the smallest of things- even if he burns himself to ash in the process.

Noelle thought it was going to just be a normal day working on the group project with Berdly. She had very little idea how wrong she was.
Have you ever wanted a story that goes beyond Snowgrave? Are you tired of all those other ones where the manipulation ends too early? Do you want a Kriselle relationship that really blurs the line between manipulative and wholesome? With her closeness to him and everything around her they find other students and rally against the unfair hand Ren was dealt at Shujin.
