Summary
James "Bucky" Barnes has escaped the control of his previous Hydra handlers. He is free and completing missions with the Avengers.
Elle (ofc) is pulled from her reality and dropped into a world with superheroes and magic. Hydra has brought her to this reality to unlock her latent powers and break her to turn her into their monster.
Bucky and Elle will go on separate and then combined journeys that test their powers, their mental stability, their abilities to protect those they love, and ultimately their bond with each other.

What does it actually feel like to be erased?
Everyone talks about the Winter Soldier like he’s just this scary ghost story, but they don't see the parts that got buried along the way. They see the missions and the name, but they weren't there when his whole life was being ripped apart. They didn't see him being broken down and rebuilt into someone he doesn't even recognize.

Summary
In 2005, Tony Stark’s son is kidnapped. In 2006, the Winter Soldier meets a boy named Pyotr. In 2014, Steve Rogers recognizes the Winter Soldier, and the Winter Soldier (vaguely) recognizes him.
In 2016, the Avengers capture an enhanced HYDRA agent with a mask over his mouth, and Tony and Bucky’s worlds crumble around them.
or, HYDRA’s first mistake was stealing Tony Stark’s son. Their second mistake was giving the Winter Soldier someone to care about. Their third mistake was underestimating the lengths that Tony and Bucky were willing to go to get him back.

Summary
A year after the Winter Soldier failed his mission in DC, Bucky Barnes is doing his best to stay under the radar from both Hydra and Steve Rogers. His hope for a peaceful day-to-day life in limbo goes awry, however, when he meets Queens’ newest hero; a pure-hearted kid with a death wish and a ridiculous pair of red and blue pajamas.
The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
Alternatively: How Peter Parker effectively fucks over Bucky Barnes, and also totally saves him.
