Summary
While attempting to rebuild from the devastation of the war, two unsuspecting people are pulled from the year 1998 and deposited right into the lap of one very confused Severus Snape. Neither knows why they were sent back, but it's clear that returning isn't an option. So, dragging a reluctant Potions Master along for the ride, Hermione Granger and Fred Weasley decide they're going to fix the future.
Getting Sirius out of Azkaban will be a piece of cake. Finding the Horcruxes in 1983? A walk in the park. Convincing Severus that the three of them are actually meant to be together? Well, that might not prove to be all that difficult in the end.

Summary
Jack Abbot is a gentleman.
This wasn’t something he was born with, obviously. His sisters whipped him into shape growing up, not to mention Mama, who would always fix him with a steely look if he gave her lip. Jack Abbot— no, Doctor Jack Abbot is charming. He’s direct, but not insensitive. He’s realistic, but not depressing. Finding that balance there, somewhere between confident and efficient, that was where he filled in. That translated eventually to reassuring residents, offering them advice in a way that wasn’t harsh, like Robby, but helpful. Constructive. That translated to mildly flirty conversations with Myrna, handing off a lighter to Dana in the smoking area, patting Robby on the back after a long day (or night, depending on the shift).
And apparently, being a gentleman translated to completely ignoring his crush on Samira Mohan.

Ineluctable: unable to be resisted or avoided; inescapable
“Fix it, please”, Harry begged, his hands shaking and desperately trying to hold onto Sirius’s arm. He can’t imagine letting go, letting his lifejacket drop when everything around him is trying to get him to drown.
“Fix what?” Sirius whispered back, eyes moving frantically over his godson’s pitying form. He holds Harry back just as feverishly, like by holding him he’ll be able to make a path through the sea just so Harry can safely get to the other side.
Harry’s eyes move to stare into his godfathers. Harry hasn’t cried since shortly after his sorting, but he can feel the tears come. He takes in the worried lines between Sirius’s brows. He looks better since the summer, Harry thinks approvingly. At least someone has been able to improve.
“Fix me” He pleads

Summary
Instead of being alone while his friends enjoy their Hogsmeade weekends, Harry joins Theodore Nott in the library. A casual acquaintance offers different perspectives on what Harry has to deal with while opening his eyes to everything and everyone around him. It leaves him with more questions but a bigger world.
It tries to answer the question. What would Harry's life be like if he made a few Slytherin friends?
