Jason Todd has an absolutely shit life.
That's about it. His life has been shit since he could walk. Then he got picked up by Batman while trying to boost his tires. But it's Batman so it's cool right? absofuckinglutely not. Because he gets beat up, shot, electrocuted, kidnapped, and tortured. Then he gets blown up. Then he claws his way out of his grave. Then he ends up in the Lazarus Pit. Then he's back in the city that raised and killed him. He's the Red Hood. Life is bearable. He can breathe. Then kids start disappearing off the street and suddenly the Bats want in on his investigation. He cant stand being around them. But. They have resources. What's the worst that could happen? He's already died once and it probably can't get much worse than that.
(it definitely can).Completely self indulgent fanfiction where I write Jason's life exactly how I want while cramming in as much pain and angst and hurt and injuries and crying and screaming and hugs and blood as humanly possible. I mean like every chapter Jason's probably gonna be bleeding out and dying in an alley or something idk

Summary
A sound caught his attention, and instantly Jason was poised to throw himself at whoever came through the door. Tense, he waited, but when the door creaked open to reveal not one person, but a whole team, he hesitated.
They were carrying someone none too gently along with them, and Jason could only watch, frozen, as they completely ignored him, dumping the person into the cell, not even wincing at the sick sound their head made when it hit the ground.
Jason barely had time to take in that all-too-familiar cowl before the door slammed shut, and he was alone. With Bruce fucking Wayne.
Nausea swirled in his throat and he forced it down. Puking in his helmet was not fun. And yeah, he knew that from experience. What kind of sick abuse was this? Or was it just an awful, awful coincidence?

Jason's trapped in a cell with Bruce, forcing him to come to terms with all of his complicated feelings about his past and his old family. Meanwhile, Bruce's trying to figure out why he’s been captured and by who, how to escape, and why the strange, violent man he's stuck with is so oddly familiar in a way he can't name. Dick and Tim just want their dad back.

Summary
After the Outlaws have an encounter that goes terribly wrong, Jason is left reeling with the loss of a few things he hadn't thought about ever being without. Roy and Kory do their best to help Jason with the aftermath, but they have lives of their own to get back to.
Jason finds himself returning to Gotham after a year away without knowing what to do with himself or his future, and his downward spiral eventually leads to his journey of recovery and reintegration.
Jason has a long, hard road ahead of him but he soon finds out that he is worth having people in his corner.
He just has to learn that it's okay to be the one in need of help, this time.

Tim’s caffeine-induced hyperness had his mind flicking from one clue to the next in rapid succession. The pieces of information he’d gathered over the past month slowly connected. The puzzle was finally starting to form a picture. It all made sense now. The rage pointed at the bats and the knowledge he possessed of them, the intimate familiarity of crime alley, even the training to a degree. A click. A grin. A flash. Darkness. Nothing.
When Jason woke up, it wasn’t with a startled flinch and gasp of air like he’d come to expect. He didn’t sit up, drenched in sweat and cough as his breath returned to him. He just continued lying there, almost as if he had fallen asleep easily, at perfect peace, and had awoken in much the same state.
He looked dully in front of him and then slowly, arduously, turned over onto his other side and tried to will himself back to sleep.
