Summary
It’s not that he wasn’t sure about what he, himself, wanted. He wants to marry Lance, there’s no doubt about that. There never was. Keith had never wanted anything so much in his entire life as he wants to spend the rest of his life, to grow old with Lance. But he fears that his vision of a perfect future is not what Lance wants back from him. He’s scared Lance might not feel as enamoured and in love with Keith as he is, might not feel ready to settle down and to dedicate his whole life to one single man.
Keith is petrified that Lance might not want him.

Summary
The boy lifts his gaze as if sensing he was being watched and locks eyes with Lance. He holds it there, curious and slightly puzzled, a gentle eyebrow perfectly arched in consideration before he looks away breaking the spell way too soon.
Lance feels his cheeks blush, a strange heat swirling inside him and burning his extrovert trait, a slight timidity overcoming him. On any other day he would put on his flirty persona and would daringly introduce himself.
But this boy; he's not like any other boy.

“Y’know…” he says, glancing up at the very high ceiling above him, being in thought. “Since you’re a blade. You probably know this guy. You know—he’s like, he’s probably the newbie.” Lance chuckles, imagining Keith getting into a group of people as the newbie everyone expects to suck at first. “He’s got this veeeery old fashioned hair style”, Lance grabs the air next to his neck with one hand even though the other can’t see him. “Do you even know about different hairstyles? I don’t know what you guys—whatever. Pretty sure even aliens think about it as ridiculous.”
It all starts with Lance not recognizing Keith in his blade suit on a mission.

Every time Lance feels like confessing to Keith, he writes a letter with his feelings.
After four months of pent up feelings and a desk with over thirty letters scattered on it’s surface, he still hasn’t given any of them to Keith.After being sent out on a mission on his own, he comes back to a significantly cleaner room.
“Welcome back Lance! ” Coran exclaims right next to his ear, making him jump. “Oh I saw all those letters you had addressed to Keith, saved you the trouble and gave them to him in your stead! You welcome!”
