Summary
Lance is a Paladin of Voltron, and he doesn’t take orders from anyone but his leader. He maintains that appearance, anyway, as he tilts his own head back, as if he has to consider it. The truth is, every molecule in his being is zinging to be across the room, lost in conversation with an attractive, friendly stranger. To be anywhere but here, alone and miserable and with nothing to do but stew in his isolation until he can finally go back to the Castle.
The stranger’s smile turns into an outright, teeth-showing grin. And that, Lance will later reflect—that’s what seals the deal. That’s the point of no return.
-
Or,
When Lance falls victim to a stranger at a party, it brings up more issues than the fresh trauma alone.

Summary
The sky and earth peel away from one another like torn paper. The world splits open before him, and for the first time, he sees the space between things, the raw seam where existence frays.
A chasm yawns wide and trembling. The two halves of reality hover inches apart: a breath here, a lifetime there.
He skids to the edge, arms windmilling, gravity pulling him toward that impossible gap. He stares down into it and feels the world tilt.
Then, movement.
Blue.
OR
Only Lance can see Keith. That’s fine, until it isn’t.
A fight, a breath, a heartbeat between worlds. Keith lingers where he shouldn’t, and Lance is the only one who can reach him. Neither of them knows how to fix it… or if they even want to.

Summary
Keith's heart raced as he shoot up in bed, his hands clutched at his chest, fingers digging into shirt then skin. His eye were wide and wild as he panted, tears burn hot streaks into his cheeks. His mind still swam with the memories of bodies, blood, the scent of burnt flesh, and the convulsive pain of lightning in his skin.
Keith was so sure it had happened, that it was real, but he wasn't in space. He was in his bed, in his dad's old shack. There were no aliens, no magic witch that tortured with magic and killed his friends. It wasn't real, because Keith had no friends named Pidge or Hunk or Allura or Lance. The only friend he had was dead, and he wasn't coming back.
But it was. It was real, and now he had the chance. The chance to fix his mistakes, and save people that he couldn't before. Even if it killed him.

Summary
Keith decides to visit the Castle of Lions during a break from Blade missions. However, a nearby planet has requested help from Voltron and Lance is the one to make the trip. He asks Keith to accompany him for old time's sake. Unfortunately for the half Galran, something lurks in the depths that none of them had been warned about...
--
However, he had jerked a little too harshly to do so and the animal retaliated by swiftly pulling out of Keith; a movement that Lance noticed had caused him to bleed. This was enough to get Lance to spring into action, but the Blue Paladin wasn't prepared to watch Keith get slammed into a nearby rock formation, hearing the glass of his helmet shatter over the comm.

Summary
Lance sighs in frustration, scrolling through the sparse scraps of data compiled into his suit. There’s practically nothing about this stupid planet, other than -
“Location…Liminal Space? Where the heck is that supposed to be?”
Clicking on the highlighted letters, his stomach drops, because wherever that wormhole spit them out, it was far.
Really, really far.
During a mission meant to uncover leads on Shiro's sudden disappearance, a compromised wormhole throws Keith and Lance into a strange area of the universe known as Liminal Space. Lance is alive. Keith...
Well.
If Lance doesn't get help soon, Keith will be Very Much Not Alive.
No pressure though. Surely their team will find them eventually. Right?

Summary
“Whatever,” Keith stands up, he’s dressed awfully slutty for some reason, not really but kinda, but if Lance can tell he’s wearing Calvin Klein boxers… “My friend is coming over, so behave.”
Behave? Be-fucking-have? “Excuse me? Am I a dog?”
Keith walks past him, completely ignoring him, “You might as well be with how you're barking like a bitch.”
Or, Keith and Lance are roommates. They don't get along.

'Tyrek leans against the bars of his own cage, eyes fixed on Keith with an unsettling intensity. “This is the part where you stop pretending it’s a mission,” he says, voice laced with cynicism.
Keith remains silent, his gaze fixed on the floor.
“You’re not infiltrating anything,” Tyrek continues. “You’re not getting out. You’re just next.”'

Summary
Cleaning the flight suits after battle was a chore Lance started picking up pretty early on.
Their paladin armor was self-cleaning and repairing thanks to the magic infused in them by Alfor, but the flight suits underneath were almost normal fabric. Of course, they were a weird Altean fabric and thus different from any clothing the paladins would see on Earth, but still fabric nonetheless.
And so, they needed to be cleaned.
-
Or: Lance goes to clean the paladins' flight suits and finds out Keith is hiding a serious injury, leading them to talk about Keith's feelings and role in Voltron.

Summary
Lance quirked his eyebrows as he watched. His curiosity went a little nuts and he silently closed his textbook, in favor of grabbing his mug of cold tea and leaning forward a little, as if three inches closer would give him to power to see a phone screen fifty fucking feet away.
Finally, after what had to have been twenty minutes of stillness, Keith slowly, his hand shaking horribly, placed his phone on the table to the side of his textbook, and Lance felt his breath catch in his throat. The black-haired boy at the table then put his arms on the table and sank his head into them, his shoulders shaking silently.

Summary
The unexpected pain catches Keith off-guard, and rather than landing safely on the other side, he tumbles down the hill, instinctively bringing his arms up to guard his head.
On the plus side, he’s made it down the hill in record time with no head injury, and he can no longer hear the footfalls trailing after him.
…but he’s paid for that win with the gouges he can now confirm are thoroughly marring his right hand and the sting along most of his left forearm. After he pauses for a shaky breath and brings himself to look at it, he sees how fast it’s leaking blood, staining the dirt beneath him. It’s most definitely not a “slap a band-aid on it and move on” kind of wound.

Summary
Keith gets a text at 3 a.m. from his use to be best friend whom he hasn't talked to in years. It causes him to reminisce on their relationship and the feelings he left unsaid for his best friend. What will he do? How will he respond to his text? Is he going to answer the best friend he hasn't seen in several years who he was in love with, after he gets invited to his wedding?
or
“It’s not. I wasn’t thinking, I-,” he stopped me once more.
“Want to dance?” He asked.
I searched his face for signs of repugnance, fury, or aversion. However, all I found was sincerity. The same soft features he wore when putting a bandaid on his younger cousin's scraped knee or helping his mama in the kitchen. My observations of him don’t lead me to an answer.
Instead, I stated, “There is no music.”
“There doesn’t have to be,” he replied.

Summary
The number one rule to any friendship is don’t fall in love with your best friend—a simple task. Don’t overthink any ambiguous text, random touching, or gestures that could be interpreted to contain romantic undertones. Don’t look at them for too long, because then you’ll start to notice their nose, splattered with freckles, crinkles when they laugh, their hair curls around the nape of their neck, and when they smile their tongue pokes out the side of their teeth.
