There are plenty of reasons that her words dug deeper than they should, Plenty of reasons that has Eddie wanting to fall on his knees and apologize; To tell her he’s sorry, That all of those girls mean as much to him as stale candy in his pocket and logically Eddie knows there's no reason for any of that even if it feels like cheating every time.
Logically, There's no reason for Chrissy to sit in his lap after their set at the hideout and dig her blunt nails into his shoulder when a girl with a skirt two sizes too small comes his way; But she does.
-And logically, there's no reason it should fill him with as much warmth as it does.

He turns the music up to almost ear-shattering decibels so that he doesn’t put his foot in his mouth and say something really, really dumb to her.
When they arrive, the mosquitos dance around the dingy light of the streetlamp.
He jumps out and turns, seeing Chrissy cautiously approach.
“This is, uh, my castle.”
Wow, apparently he needs his music on at all times because that was incredibly cheesy and the definition of a dumb thing you don’t say to girls that are cool like Chrissy.
But she laughs. She smiles and looks up and steps toward him, not away.
He opens the door, letting her in first. The smell of her perfume, something not overly floral and almost woodsy, wafts over him as she passes, the scent swinging from her ponytail.
He could get drunk on that smell, he thinks in a haze as she passes him.

He comes into the tavern whenever he's docked in Misthaven, always following his crew and settling down at the table in the center of the room, ordering a rum before falling into telling a rousing story that has the entire room roaring with laughter. It's like that for years, and Emma gets used to watching Captain Killian Jones in his element on land, idly wondering what he must be like when at sea. They speak to each other, enough to know names and to be comfortable in conversation, but he's rarely around long enough for her to truly know him, his mistress of the sea always calling him home.

Killian’s mother worked in the tavern, often bringing her infant son with her to work, and the two babes grew up together in the kitchens, making all sorts of mischief together, a conspiratorial team from the get go.
That is until tragedy struck Killian’s family, prompting his father to take his two young sons on an adventure at sea. An adventure that should only last a few months, Killian assures Emma.

A season one Cursed!Killian that starts in medias res (i.e. after the end of S3). But very little about this is canon compliant.
