Summary
Bucky Barnes lives in a shitty little apartment in Brooklyn with his three siblings and absent parents. It takes a lot for a kid to put food on the table, especially when he has to do things that are, to say the least, immoral. At least he has Steve. (And a lot of friends Steve picks up fighting bullies.)
That was his faith. With all certainty he knew it. His faith lay with his family. His patchwork family of blood and love and choice. What had Arthur said? That you just needed to have faith, to choose it.
He had chosen them. Beyond what he could comprehend. And so that was faith.

Summary
Thanks to a deal struck between her and Hop, El may have the chance to spend the summer outside of the cabin with her friends. The deal? El needs to survive until the summer, with no stupid rule-breaking. And in an attempt to keep her entertained until then, she’ll also be getting two babysitters to keep her company in the cabin.
Nancy is familiar territory, but Steve is someone all but unknown to El. But he’s nice, and very interesting to observe, El can’t help but decide.
