Then, as if that wasn’t bad enough, her relationship with Josh got cut short before she even knew what it was. Almost a year later, she was still dealing with the repercussions when she met Ashton and he was more than she could ever have hoped for. But could she stand the possibility of losing another love?
Ashton Brown was Ashley’s twin brother and they were complete opposites. He was outgoing and popular, but he had his own struggles. A rumor in high school turned nearly everyone against him, even his own sister. Upon graduation, he tried to turn a new leaf but ended up in the middle of family drama when his then girlfriend wound up pregnant. Then, six months later, living alone, his ex-girlfriend expecting his child, he met Sam, who turned his entire world upside down.

Summary
Day dawns on Blackwood but so many questions still remain. Is it over? Can it ever really be over? What will happen when they get back home and no one believes their story? How will they cope with the trauma? And what happened to Josh? Can they rescue him or is he lost forever, doomed to the same fate as his sister? Are there more horrors in store for these eight broken teens?
Guilt, judgement, regret, grief, greed and want will all have a part to play in where the story goes from here.
But as they recover, hopefully, they'll be able to find a new normal, and maybe, just maybe, it will be even better than the old one.
