Shinsou Hitoshi hadn't once had a satisfactory birthday celebration since he had been in foster care. The first few houses he had at least made an attempt to mention his birthday, but the inevitable disappointment was crushing, and it didn't take him long to learn.
By the third house, he gave up even talking about himself at all; he had determined that it was best to keep the attention off of himself. He had learned little things he could do like go out with friends if he was allowed, or spending some money on himself if he had it.

Summary
Everyone has always thought Yamaguchi was the pining friend, but while he was sure he loved his best friend, he just never understood what falling in love or romantic love even really meant.
Tsukishima was the infatuated one, who would do anything to have his best friend in his arms, even being physically intimate while never feeling that type of attraction for anyone at all to begin with.
Finding their way to each other will have to mean writing their own script defying the expectations of intimacy, romance, and companionship, instead creating something that matters to them; just to the two of them.

Inspired by my UshiTenIwaOi story "The Love I Feel", I decided to make another poly story! This time it will be TsuikiYamaKageHina (Tsuikishima, Yamaguchi, Kageyama, Hinata) story! This is a soulmate au story. So everyone is born and then they get a heart locket. Then they get a key before starting school. So everyone is trying to unlock the lockets, but only soulmates ca do so. Buit Tsukiahima, Yamaguchi, Kageyama, and Hinata were given three keys. Now poly realtionships are not new in the soulmate realm, they are just rarer than most. The people in a soulmate relationship is uncommon but not unheard of. Four people in a realtionship is a little rarer and less known. So let's join this four count couple as they try to find each other and make the realtionship work. (Also this is not gonna be during high school, the past will be mentioned many times, but this is placed when all of them are adults. Also they all work in the same office building because I said. More info will be in the first 'chapter'). I hope you all enjoy this story!
