❓ A "WHAT IF" of Trolls 1 ❓
Instead of singing True Colors, Branch chooses to break the trolls free from Chef's Pot. But when King Peppy dies in the escape and all the trolls lose trust in Poppy (including herself), Branch has no choice but to step up as the new King.

(⭐️ TAKES PLACE 10 YRS AFTER FFM EVENTS IN 3rd Life is the Charm? ⭐️)
After freeing the enslaved Flower Fruit Mountain from the Demon King of Havoc and his Army, Macaque had no intention of sticking around, but events keep forcing him to stay longer! And even when he DOES manage to leave, Wukong somehow tracks him down!
But after learning about Chang'e's existence, Macaque decides to find her and obtain very unique moon-related ingredients needed to craft his Lantern of Souls. With it, he could finally disappear.
...of course, it's never that simple.
AKA: Macaque just wanted to prevent some of the deaths caused by the 10 Suns Event and leave FFM, but accidentally:
-Starts a religion
-Lays even more groundwork and alliances for future rebellion
-Saves Chang'e's Husband
-Gets a Moon Sister who adores him
-Starts a technological revolution 2000 years too early
-Starts a Lunar Empire on the moon
-Saves the childhood and family of the enemy who originally burned FFM to the ground (Erlang Shen)Plus other events that have Macaque starting to wonder how he could have EVER thought he could avoid changing the Timeline...

Summary
After sacrificing his life so MK could defeat the Lady Bone Demon, Macaque wakes up... in the past?
To a time BEFORE he met Wukong.
Macaque swears to never get involved with Wukong again... but his actions inadvertently lead to Flower Fruit Mountain being enslaved by the Demon King of Confusion.
