His friend, who Jisu can’t see, hidden behind his broad and muscled shoulders, continues to laugh as this clown show unfolds. It’s a cute laugh. Airy and tinkling. “I’m really flattered, but I’m not interested.”
The guy, weirdly, looks confused at her words. “What?"
“Bro, I’m gay,” Jisu says. The words that tumble past her own lips give her pause. The laughter behind the guy’s back cuts off abruptly.
