The chattering picks up again, and Krolia and Kolivan are exchanging a look.
“I’ll go,” someone finally says. Everyone turns to look at the source.
Lance has pulled his hands out of his pockets, but they’re still hanging limply at his sides. He stares straight ahead, not breaking eye contact with the two Marmorites projected above the control room. For a second, no one says anything. Then Hunk starts to laugh.
“Good one, buddy,” he says, snorting a little. Pidge wants to laugh as well, if only to show Lance that he’d successfully broken up the tension. But Lance doesn’t smile back at Hunk, doesn’t even look at him. He’s not joking, Pidge realizes with a jolt.

“Has it ever occurred to you that you can have nice things?” Hunk asks.-
Lance and Keith have been together for three months, which is around the time when the “honeymoon phase” wears off. Worried that Keith will get tired of him, Lance tries desperately to keep him engaged in the relationship. Five times Lance goes out of his way to keep Keith from breaking up with him one time Keith shows him that he's here to stay.

Summary
“I like it,” Keith blurts, practically signing off the measurements of his coffin with how straightforward that feedback is.
Lance’s head swiftly tips downward to finally look at Keith. His face is the shell of a reaction, toeing between something wild and something passive. A few locks of hair swing down and hang loose along the edge of his forehead, kind of like Allura’s doll-like ringlets that dance around with every expressive motion she makes. The overhead light is barely obscured from Keith’s view by his friend’s towering figure, and it’s almost like Lance is simultaneously both something nostalgic and completely foreign.
“You do?” Lance asks with a genuine curious lilt. His knuckles shift anxiously against the seams of the shorts’ pockets.
“Yeah.”
Keith can’t take his eyes off Lance.
Or: 3 times Keith was struck dumb by Lance’s beauty and 1 time he didn’t just stare.

“It’s been two years since I’ve seen you,” Keith murmurs, eyes like a pool of stars. “I’m gonna kiss you until you pass out.”
And Lance’s brain is on autopilot because holy fuck he cannot believe this is happening, that Keith Kogane is planning on making him so dizzy from kisses—he’ll probably spontaneously combust. So, with everything running a mile a minute, his automatic response is to be snarky, “That’s great, but what about Loto—?”
“Don’t care. Give me your mouth.”

Summary
Web swinging as a super hero through the skyscrapers of New York is a great way to get an adrenaline boost, but it doesn't quite compare to riding on a dark back road with the wind in your hair and no responsibilities. Peter misses his bike and his ability to go joy riding when the city and his mind became too much and he needed a break, but it's been a while since he sold it to pay Aunt May's medical bills so he has to make due with what he gets from the city to combat his bad brain days. Enter one (1) Wade Wilson, Merc with a Mouth, and a motorcycle apparently.
