Summary
After the climactic end to her first season as an SFSU RedDevil, Violet Ortiz, is offered the chance to be an assistant coach during a three day training camp for 16 star players in the Bay Area. She agrees without a second thought, desperate for a reprieve from interviews, cameras, and a hounding PR team.
Coach Roberts unwittingly seems to have other plans for the weekend, as the second year striker is forced to come face to face with the person(s) responsible for her check into the public eye. Finding herself thrust in the midst of rising tension, fierce competition and interpersonal struggles in this retreat turned rivalry, she attempts to take her life back into her own hands with an unplanned redemption arc.
