Summary
Riley Andersen has always been good at ruining her own life. College is her chance to change that, to leave behind the faults and failures of her adolescence and start anew as someone people will actually care about. The last time she left home to live on her own nearly ended in disaster, but Riley isn't that stupid little girl anymore. This time will be different. This time will be better.
She already has a head start with Valentina Ortiz, the closest friend she ever had, attending the same university. As long as Riley doesn't give Val any reasons to hate her, maybe reconnecting with her old best friend can be the start of a life that's actually worth living.
Deep down, Riley knows she's not good enough for Val, or anyone else. Val doesn't know that, though. She doesn't know about any of the things that happened during the years they were apart, and Riley is going to keep it that way. But the closer she gets to Valentina, the harder it becomes to hide the things she's ashamed of—and, strangely, the more she wonders if Valentina has some painful secrets of her own.

Val wants to be a good girlfriend. She definitely tries her hardest when it comes to their dates and the likes of that, but her last few relationships were…rocky to say the least, but she really wanted this one to work. Her girlfriend Riley was possibly the most adorable person she knew, she's smart, kind, funny and just an overall joy to be around. They both originally connected over their shared love of hockey, especially with them both being on the team, not to mention Riley’s natural talent for the game, hell she half expects Riley to replace her as team captain when she goes off to college next year.
The problem is that other than hockey they don't really have much to talk about. Sure they loved each other but Val wanted to get to know more about her hobbies and interests so they could connect better as a couple. She wanted to go for something simple to start with, which naturally drew her to the unholy amount of mini’s Riley had, val did some digging and learned the franchise was called Warhammer, her plan was to have Riley explain it to her so they could try and bound over it, it didn't look too complex, so it seemed easy, I mean how complex could a simply franchise based on figurines be?

Summary
A few years after the events of Inside Out 2, Riley has graduated high school and is now in college. Meanwhile, Sadness and Embarrassment, Fear and Anxiety, and Anger and Envy have all moved out of the main Headquarters room into separate apartments after they got married and had children. Sadness and Embarassment's daughter, Awkwardness, Fear and Anxiety's fraternal twins, Worry and Doubt, and Anger and Envy's three children, Jealousy, Frustration, and Resentment. While the other emotions are living their lives, the single emotions, Joy, Disgust, Ennui, and Nostalgia, who was called to the main room for help after the rest of the emotions had moved out, including the new emotion, Infatuation remain to control Riley.
As the older emotions are out of Headquarters for vacation, Infatuation is left alone watching over Riley and babysitting the children. While she is, things in Headquarters get out of control as the children mess with the console causing Riley to suffer from mental health issues. Would Infatuation do anything to save Riley from mental health issues without bothering the other emotions' vacation?

It's been 6 years since Riley Andersen and her parents moved to San Francisco and when she was 11 Riley could never imagine just how different her life was going to be. Her parents are completely different people now, Her mom had to get a job to help pay pills that are 5 times higher than they paid in Minnesota. Riley never could understand it how a job and some high bills could change somebody so, especially her dad... But his situation she was about to understand much more after her junior year of high school. Her junior year of Hell.
And what about Riley's emotions? The group had been working hard to keep Riley happy and healthy through all the home stress, and while battling their own stressors. However when the group of 9 becomes 11, and things get shaken up like never before, Joy takes a step back, forced rather, but steps back to let someone take the wheel, not able to find herself in all the mess. Sadness however, she steps up and takes charge, much to everyone's shock and disbelief, she turns the worst 9 months of Riley's life into something that would flip her whole world and self in a 180. But what happens at the end? Is there an end?
