  Summary

Sonic dies at the end of Sonic 06 and the timeline breaks because that wasn't supposed to happen, so the world remakes itself with what pieces it has left and makes a new reality without Sonic and with every character switched around in their roles.

This leads to Mephiles the Dark being the new main hero and protagonist of the story. Yet while everyone else has had their memories changed to fit their new roles and reality, Mephiles hasn't, since he is a god and still somewhat fused with Iblis.

This leads to chaos, paranoia, and the half god slowly traveling through a reality where he is nothing more than a mortal. Will he accept his new life and finally live at peace, or will everything be destroyed again and have to be rebuilt once more?
