“Hannie,” Minho exhales. “What did you see?”
And Jisung can’t deny it anymore, not with Minho looking at him so openly, so sincerely waiting for his answer. Communicating to him that he’s not going to judge him, that he’s just going to accept whatever it is Jisung says.
With a single fragile breath, everything he’s been keeping only to himself, the truth that’s been terrorising him, floats in the space between them.
“I saw you die. Three times.”
or: Jisung's night of venting at a bar quickly spirals when he meets a beautiful stranger with orange hair who doesn't pull any punches. Unbeknownst to him, the spiral goes much further than he might have anticipated. And he may not be the only one affected.

Minho would like to think that if he had known the content of the forty-second-long voice message Jisung sent at 5:12, he wouldn’t have played it. But another part of him, one that he doesn’t want to deal with, doesn’t want to acknowledge at all, tells him he is a big fat liar and would play it anyway. It tells him he could never be strong enough to resist. It doesn’t even give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he succumbed to the desire because his physical and mental capacity has been severely weakened. No. There is no doubt in this part of his psyche that even if he were in a top-notch condition, he would still fall victim to Jisung’s voice.
or: sick and feverish, Minho doesn't expect to wake up to his notifications flooded with Jisung's Bubble voice messages, much less have some of them contain the L-word.

Jisung hisses, eyes slipping shut in pure pleasure. Minho leans towards Jisung’s face, his hands holding the younger’s slim waist, fingers stroking his sides.
“Mm,” Minho draws out as if deep in thought. “Where have I heard this sound before, I wonder—”
“Hyung,” Jisung whimpers. “That’s not funny,” he insists but there is an embarrassed laughter bubbling behind his words. He looks stuck between embarrassed, aroused and actually amused by the absurdity of the entire situation. Nothing too unusual for someone who was just caught getting close to the edge on camera.
(aka jisung's face right after minho's thigh touched his crotch has been living rent-free in my mind ever since and i just needed to get this out of my system)

“What’s going on?” Jisung asks.
Chan doesn’t bother with pleasantries. He and Jisung keep in touch well enough through an ongoing text thread that he knows about the concept of Jisung’s upcoming album, the U.S. tour at the end of the year, that there is no one significant in Jisung’s life aside from the elderly neighbor that occasionally feeds his cat, Nana, and foists confusing baked goods like zucchini bread on him.
So, when Chan calls, he gets straight to business. “I want to talk to you about an interview.”
“An interview.” The word feels uncomfortable on Jisung’s tongue. It sticks in his throat, causes it to constrict.
Silence stretches between them before Chan admits, “Well, a little more than an interview. A docuseries, of sorts.”
(It’s been ten years since Jisung lost Minho and Stray Kids. Now, they’re telling the story.)
