She ends up seeing way more then she ever wanted to of her brothers new life.

Summary
I'll keep it simple to avoid spoilers.
Post-interview (in a world Armand never betrayed Louis) Armand and Louis are going on a road trip to avoid getting killed by soon to be invading angry vampires.
They see a tree in the road and end up in a town, at night, where monsters torture and kill people every night. They find these monster to be a delectable, junk food-like, treat. Apparently, vampires are also predators for 'Smile' monsters.
They decide to lay low, stick to eating the monsters at night as cover, while they live among the humans and try to help find a way home too. Insisting all the while Louis has a sun allergy. Interestingly enough they come to find that all the people here don't seem to have a concept of vampires? So the excuse works. They wonder, if they might not all be from the same world like they first thought.
Oh, and Louis may have risked their cover by choosing to save someone, giving the towns folk full view to see just how the terrifying monsters ran for the first time ever to get away from an approaching Louis and Armand.
For clarity, this takes place after the Matthews arrive but before the bus does.

Jaskier, personification of Death, bemused and a little bit entertained, strums his lute. "You really didn't know this whole time? But I told you when we first met."
Geralt thought about it and slowly put his hand on his face. "Fuck."

Geralt has been having the strangest few weeks. First, he acquires a bard from a shitty tavern in Posada who spouts some nonsense at him despite it being clear that he couldn't possibly be the person he was talking about. He's certain he would have remembered meeting him in his relatively long life.
Second, the bard - Jaskier - doesn't seem like he's leaving any time soon despite Geralt trying to lose him.
Third, Jaskier keeps looking at him. He keeps touching him. He keeps... He keeps. And it's doing something strange to him. His stomach flips, and he originally thought he was sick, but as time continues to pass, he has to acknowledge the fact that may or may not be acquiring feelings for said bard.
And that horse. Why was it... green? Given, it's the lightest shade of green, but really?
