Summary
If this wasn’t love, then his entire life had been a lie, and he refused to believe that. He refused to believe it wasn’t real, that he had done what he’d done and become what he’d become for nothing. He refused to believe his feelings for Gi-hun were just an illusion, or him finally going insane. No. This was real. This had to be real.
The rebellion never happens, In-ho and Gi-hun play Hide and Seek, they get a little freaky afterwards (of course), but their story doesn't end there: in this universe, In-ho actually has the balls to do something about his feelings.

In-ho has always loved the sea. Has always adored boats.
It’s the safest refuge he can imagine:
Tucked away in the cabin of a cozy secondhand hobby trawler. Bobbing gently on unspoiled open water. Miles and miles from any other human soul.
For the first time in weeks, when In-ho opens his eyes to the faint glimmers of morning sun, he doesn’t feel anxiety.
He turns over to see Gi-hun, gently curled around their little daughter - the baby neither of them could let go. The glue that, by necessity, cemented them together as a unit.-_-_-
A month and a half after the destruction of the island, In-ho wakes up with his found family.

Hwang In Ho got rich for “special reasons” (let's just say if you investigate too much, you could end up in court). Now he's the CEO of Squid Laboratories and Research, a company with a name that sounds more like a seafood restaurant than a multimillion-dollar corporation. Life at the top isn't easy: constant stress, employees who won't stop breathing down his neck, and an emotional void that even his deep pockets can't fill. Solution? A dating app, because clearly there's nothing more romantic than swiping right while you're in a board meeting.
On the other hand, we have Seong Gi Hun, an unemployed mechanic who decided to try his luck in the business of love... well, paid love. Inspired by a teen magazine he came across, Gi Hun opts to become a young escort. The only problem is that he is no longer young. At 51 years old, with a comatose bank account and social skills that could scare a cactus, Gi Hun is determined to conquer the lonely old rich man market.

“No, when you—when you smile like that,” Gi-hun says, shuddering. “It makes me miss him.”
“Who?” In-ho asks. He can’t help it, Gi-hun always piques his curiosity. “Jung-bae sshi? Sang-woo sshi?” He uses their real names for once. After hearing some of Gi-hun’s stories on the rare occasions he felt like sharing, In-ho can't help but use their names in place of their numbers. It makes In-ho feel like he knows them, too.
He's often thought about shooting Jung-bae with shaking hands, watching the hopelessness in his eyes as he turned to face Gi-hun. But what felt like pricks of guilt then, feels like sharp pains in his chest these days. He rolls around at night, and thinks, and feels. It’s a mystery why.
In-ho looks at Gi-hun sitting in front of him, the visceral reaction to Jung-bae’s name still strong as ever.
Is it really a mystery anymore? The influence of Seong Gi-hun and the thousand souls he carries with him is quite strong.
or: gi-hun and in-ho make it out alive, but gi-hun wants nothing to do with the latter. unfortunately, in-ho has other plans.

“You’re super pretty. Like, angel-level pretty.” Gi-hun spoke in a slurry voice. “…wait, are you an angel?” Then he looked around the room, his gaze wandering from the medical equipment to the IV drip attached to his hand and the tangle of wires surrounding him.
“…are you here to take me to heaven?”
“No, I’m not an angel.” In-ho couldn’t help it—he chuckled. “Gi-hun, don’t you remember me? I’m your husband.”
The revelation probably hit Gi-hun like an anvil. His eyes widened so dramatically that they looked like they might pop out of his head. “You’re my husband?” The cracker he’d been holding slipped out of his hand and landed on his chest. “Have we kissed yet?”
Or, Gi-hun wakes up from surgery, high on the effect of anesthesia, and hits on his husband In-ho.

I have stayed mostly canon so far but have taken creative liberties for the sake of the ship. But because season three isn't out, this will not have a canon ending.

Gi-hun’s eyes stay pointed toward the camera. In-ho’s head feels like it’s spinning.
He follows as Gi-hun brings his fingers to his right nipple. In-ho sees the moment his fingers twist the sensitive area – Gi-hun’s mouth parts and his eyes slip closed, just for a split-second.
“Oh,” In-ho lets out quietly. He aches, the want overwhelming him. He’s fixated on the screen. In the back of his mind, he’s aware it’s a game. He’s just not sure of the end goal – how does one win, and what does the winner gain?
